Wow!

Growing up, I always collected magazines. When I started collecting The Source magazine, the 1st thing I did was flip to the back to see who got the verse of the month. After years of this, XXL came along and knocked the source out the box. Now When I check XXL the 1st thing I do is check to see who has the verse of the month. Ha! This month when I flipped I saw my fucking face! Thats was a deep moment for me. I mean I knew it was coming, but DAMN! to see it was some other shit. When I first wrote "Black Folks" I thought no one would like it. I had a real interesting convo with 2 people that kinda put my mind in that mindframe to even write this song. I had the song sitting on my drive forever before I let anyone hear it. The reaction from people was overwhelming. I set out to make incredible music that cuts deep into your soul, whether it be shit talking or introspective, I aim to disrupt your soul. "Black Folks" is proving to be one of the best works of art I've ever created in my life! Oh, the video? World Premier on MTV any day now! Hi mom! =)
